Suzanne Biederberg Gallery is lid van de Nederlandse Galerie Associatie.
The Suzanne Biederberg Gallery was founded in 1985 and is directed by Suzanne Biederberg. The gallery is located in a 17th century canal house in Amsterdam. Each year, eight to ten solo or two-person exhibitions are held. The gallery specialises in recent paintings, sculpture, drawings, installations and photography, working with established artists, but with an emphasis on supporting younger, emerging artists, often of non-Dutch origin who live and/or have studied in the Netherlands. The exhibition program is designed to reflect the directions and changes in the contemporary European art scene. The gallery's diverse activities advance and defend the work of artists who are often dramatically different from each other, but share a certain sensibility and a strong individuality.
